The Journey…

French is a Romance language and it’s never more true than when saying something naughty. Hip and Naughty’s crack team has traveled through the underbelly of France to collect the most useful offensive words, edgy phrases, and slang that can only be learned if plunged deep into the culture. The journey begins at the bar. Ever wanted to order a cocktail like a local, learn seductive pick-up lines, or tell someone off? Now it can be done with finesse and a smile. The second part of Hip and Naughty takes us to the bedroom. Eliminated are all those complicated boundaries that accompany the act of love. Also offered are all of the seductive phrases for abroad or to spice things up in the bedroom at home. Our last leg of the journey is the day after. If one decides to continue the relationship or call it quits, it’s all here. The Music…

Composer Keegan Selzler has mixed the mesmerizing sounds of Vangelis and the retro chic of Serge Gainsbourg to create his own unique soundtrack. Saxophonist Victor Prinsen sprinkles his talent across the tracks, adding an authentic Parisian flavor that congeals with the skillfully placed sound effects. Mixing and mastering was done by Dream Medium AV.

Our Method…

Based upon research into memory enhancement, Hip and Naughty’s method utilizes the power of music to connect and create additional neural paths to the words and phrases of a language in the area of the auditory cortex responsible for long term memory. The phrases combined with the music are designed to become embedded in the memory. The words and phrases are also repeated several times, allowing the listener the chance to say the phrase out loud and thus build speaking skills.

“Green” electronic distribution is our small attempt to decrease our environmental impact, fossil fuel consumption, and landfill glut. Therefore, Hip and Naughty French Vol. 1 is only available digitally.
